Here’s the difference between type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes 

Type 1

In a very simple term,

People who suffer from type 1 diabetes have little or no insulin in their body at all because your body attacks the cells in your pancreas which in turn makes the production of insulin impossible.

Type 2

For this type, your body system is not responding or making use of insulin effectively

Not that you don’t have insulin at all.

You have but it’s not being used or processed correctly by your body system

You will agree with me that although they are both diabetes,

But they are somehow different and their solution should be different

And this is another reason why people take diabetes and see no result

I have seen people who are type 1 diabetes taking type 2 diabetes medications

It will not work

Type 1 and type 2 diabetes have similar symptoms and complications but they are different

The problem with type 1 diabetes is that your body immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas.

The implication of this is that after your body system has destroyed these beta cells, it will not be able to produce insulin

Which is why people with type 1 diabetes rely on insulin to stay alive

And for type 2…

People with type 2 diabetes have insulin resistance

What this means is that although your body still produces insulin… it’s unable to use it effectively.
